Everyone I know could tell me at least one specific family tradition they have every christmas. For my family, who knows why, we have tiramisu for dessert.
After helping my mum make it countless times, this year I took over the tiramisu reins and made it myself. Filled with whipped mascarpone cream, boozy coffee soaked Italian sponge finger biscuits, salty roasted pistachios and grated dark chocolate, it got the Costin family tick of approval. Phew.
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope it was as lovely as mine was, spent playing slightly drunken scategories for hours, mucking around with the dogs and eating lots of ham at a beach house up the coast with my family.
